Chris "Cutch" McHutchinson -Deluxe Board Shaper
Hailing from the legendary surf town of Torquay in Victoria, Cutch cut his teeth as an apprentice haper for Rip Curl in the early 80's.
During my career I have been fortunate enough to work for leading surf companies such as Rip Curl, Beach Beat, Quicksilver and Aloha. Having worked my way around the wast coast of Australia. Over my 25 years shaping I have worked along side some of the world best surfboard shapers; Wayne Lynch, Maurice Cole, Greg Clough, Xanudu and young guns Chilli and Warner.
Cutch has competed in surfing competitions for manuy years. Having won regional and tate titles. I am a bit of an adrenalin nut, I will ride any style of surfboard (retro or modern) to keep my surfing fresh and inspired. I have shaped surfboard for state and national champions throughout Australia; most notable, Joel Parkinson and Serena Brooke.
