What can you say about Mark Richards that hasn't already been said?  4 Times world champion and a true surfer - shaper. Mark Richards began shaping at age 13 which gave him huge insights into the way a board worked for him specifically. It was about speed and manoeuverability. Mark Richards claims the creation of this combination in his twin fin designs was directly responsible for securing his first World championship in 1979, and subsequently in 1980, 1981 and 1982.

Working directly with Dick Brewer in the winter of 76 /77 helped Mark to translate the images he had in his head to real life tangible surfboards that became world renowned in every corner of the globe. Mark Richards still shapes today in his home town of Newcastle and puts as much passion into his surfboards now as when he was starting his career.

Every surfer deserves to have a Mark Richards surfboard in their quiver and with the incredibly versatile range on offer there is no excuse.
